The Alachua County Library District presents the 2025 Quilt Trail, celebrating the art of quilting with more than 100 quilts on display at all 12 library locations throughout the month of March.
The Library District has partnered with the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild, the Tree City Quilters Guild, and the Gainesville Modern Quilters. This is the second Quilt Trail event the Library District has organized. This event features new and antique quilts, along with smaller works made by many different local quilters. Quilts can be viewed at all 12 library locations between Saturday, March 1, and Monday, March 31.
Be sure to pick up a Quilt Trail Passport, our programming brochure, from any ACLD location. The Passport includes information about the quilting guilds participating and a stamp checkoff list. Complete the checkoff list by visiting every branch in the district and viewing the quilts. Then share your experience with us on our social media platforms @AlachuaLibrary.

The Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild
Founded in 2003, the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild, Inc. (QACDG) serves the community through donations, education and extensive community outreach. We offer our members several quilt bees, programs, workshops, and an annual two- to three-day Quilters’ Day Camp.
Founded in 1993, the Tree City Quilters' Guild preserves the heritage of quilting by being a source of information, education and inspiration, by perpetuating a high quality of excellence in quilting and related arts., and by providing a gathering of people with the common interest.

Gainesville Modern Quilters is a guild dedicated to supporting and exploring the modern quilt movement. As a local chapter of the international Modern Quilt Guild, the group meets monthly to learn new skills, plan projects and events, and share their work.
