Gainesville, Fla. – Check out new STEM Kits for children at any Alachua County Library Branch to spark discoveries in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Fifteen kits are available for check out starting Monday, Aug. 16. Each kit includes an interactive toy, book, and DVD on a STEM theme curated for children ages 3 through fifth graders.
The Rotary Club of Gainesville supported this new collection with a $1,500 donation. STEM Kits check out for 14 days. Library cardholders can reserve one kit at a time to pick up at any library branch and return the kits at any location. Kit themes include electricity, the human body, birding, microscopic discoveries, and more.
