Gainesville FL. - UPDATE: The Library District will remain closed on Friday, Sep. 27 and reopen Saturday, Sept. 28 for regular operating hours at all library locations.
Out of an abundance of caution for both our patrons and staff the Alachua County Library District will be closing at 6 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 25. The Library District will remain closed all day Thursday Sept. 26. We plan to reopen on Friday Sept. 27 for normal operating hours, if weather conditions permit.
