Gainesville, Fla. – Award-winning children’s author Minh Lê will read and discuss his newest book, “The Perfect Seat,” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10 at Headquarters Branch, 401 E. University Ave., Gainesville.
Lê won the 2019 Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature for his book “Drawn Together” with illustrator and Caldecott Winner Dan Santat. His book, “Let Me Finish!” was named an NPR Best Book of 2016.
Lê is a father of two sons and a federal early childhood policy expert who has worked in education at the national, state, and local level -- both in and out of the classroom. Children, guardians, and families are welcome to meet Lê and learn about his books.
