Gainesville, Fla. – Alachua County Library District Director Shaney T. Livingston was recently elected to the Northeast
NEFLIN serves 550 libraries in 24 counties, providing members with training, resource sharing, partnerships for grant funding, and leadership opportunities. The organization is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors comprised of elected representatives from member libraries. Board members serve three-year terms.
“I’m thankful for this opportunity to serve on the NEFLIN Board of Directors. Our staff at the Alachua County Library District benefit daily from the training and resources NEFLIN provides,” Livingston said. “I look forward to supporting NEFLIN’s mission and our member libraries throughout Northeast Florida.”
