Gainesville, Fla. – New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian will present his new novel, Red Lotus, at the Alachua County Library District’s 2020 Author Series on Saturday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Headquarters Branch, 401 E. University Ave., in Meeting Room A.
Bohjalian has written more than 20 novels, including The Sandcastle Girls and The Guest Room. He found wide acclaim in 1998 when his fifth novel, Midwives, was an Oprah’s Book Club selection. His works have been adapted for screen and stage. Actress Kaley Cuoco is producing and starring in an HBO limited TV series based on his recent novel “The Flight Attendant.”

As she deals with investigators and her partner’s cold family, Alexis must also face the disturbing questions arising after her lover’s disappearance.
