Access New York Times
Get free online access to The New York Times at NYTimes.com and through the mobile app with your library card. You will find a variety of topics covered through breaking-news articles, blogs, videos, and interactive features. Please keep in mind that only the Mini Crossword puzzle is included in library access .
To access the New York Times online for free with your library card:
- Select the "Access New York Times" button link above.
You'll have to enter your library card number if you are not inside the library network. - Select "REDEEM" for free 24-hour access to the New York Times online.
You may have to login with your free New York Times account or register by creating a new account with your email address and a password. Select "Continue" and you can skip any other options. If you are on a mobile device, you may be asked if you want to "Read in browser" or "Read in app" for the New York Times app, which you'll have to download from your device's App Store or Google Play. A confirmation page will appear advising when your 24-hour pass expires.
To access the New York Times again, after your 24-hour pass expires, you will have to repeat the two steps above again. You can find the New York Times link for direct access on the "View all Databases" button link below.
If you are using the New York Times app, you may still have to go through the steps above in a browser to reactivate your 24-hour access before your account on the app may recognized your account has access.
