It's summertime, and it's time to pamper yourself. Follow this easy 3-ingredient recipe for a watermelon lip scrub that will remove chapped skin and make your lips soft and smooth.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil *Make sure to use food safe coconut oil*
4-6 drops of watermelon flavoring (you can use Kool-Aid to add flavor)
You will also need an air-tight container to store your lip scrub.
Instructions
If your coconut oil is solid at room temperature, you can place in a microwave safe dish and warm up in 10-15 second increments until the oil turns from solid to liquid. Mix all three ingredients together in a bowl until they clump together.
Store in an air tight container in your refrigerator until you are ready to use. Apply a small amount to your lips, gently massage in small circles and rinse off with warm water when you are done. Use this scrub one to three times per week at most. For best results, apply lip balm after use.
