Germination is the process of a seed growing into a seedling, sprout, or young plant. Learn the process of seed germination with this fun craft. Create your own work of art to hang in your window and watch as your seeds take on a life of their own.
For this craft you will need construction paper or card stock, scissors, paper towels, water, markers, sandwich bag, tape and seeds. Need seeds? Check out a seed library at your local library branch. Seed Libraries share free, in-season seeds with patrons. Call your local branch to see what seeds they are offering and what their seed limit is (because each branch is different depending on demand). You can use the template below to make your pot by printing it out, copying into word and enlarging it, or tracing it onto another piece of paper.
