Inside Out 2, the latest Pixar feature film, releases in theaters on June 14, 2024. The film, which is the sequel to Inside Out, returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. (Disney)
June is great time to celebrate a love of movies, as June 6th is National Drive-In Movie Day. This day is the anniversary of the first ever drive-in movie theater opening in the U.S. The first drive-in theater screen was 40 feet by 50 feet and had 400 car slots. While Alachua County does not have its own drive-in theater, you can find one in neighboring Marion County at the Ocala Drive-In.

Toy Story (1995)
Ever wonder what toys do when people aren't around? Toy Story answers that question with a fantastic fun-filled journey, viewed mostly through the eyes of two rival toys – Woody, the lanky, likable cowboy, and Buzz Lightyear, the fearless space ranger. Finding Nemo (2003)

“That was the jumping-off point,” continues Scanlon. “We’ve all lost someone, and if we could spend one more day with them—what an exciting opportunity that would be. Soul (2020)
