Are you a big fan of Rick Riordan? The Olympians? The Gods of Asgard and Egypt? Can you just not get enough of epic fantasy series based on ancient mythologies?
Well, you're not alone! Mythological Fantasies have always been popular and continue to be so today thanks to awesome authors like Mr. Riordan himself!
But did you know that there's so many more mythologies and folklores to explore than those of Greece/Rome, Egypt, and Scandinavia? There's a WHOLE WORLD of awesome mythologies out there and there are lots of authors writing awesome books that tell those tales. Today I'm going to share some of those authors and titles with you so get your to-be-read list ready!

Rick Riordan and his editor; Stephanie Lurie has joined forces to publish and promote Middle Grade (ages 9-12) fantasy and sci-fi novels with the goal of publishing authors from underrepresented cultures and backgrounds. In alignment with the #OwnVoices movement Rick Riordan Presents aim to give these authors the space to tell their own stories inspired by the mythology and folklore of their own heritage.
