Learn effective methods for serving adults

Two seminars on February 26, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and February 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. will provide an overview and and an opportunity to have your questions about dyslexia addressed by expert Dr. Tim Conway. He is a neuropsychologist, dyslexia & fMRI researcher, dyslexia advocate, Director of The Morris Center, CEO of Neuro-development of Words-NOW! Company, co-founder of The Einstein School (free charter school for children with dyslexia), and an affiliated Research Assistant Professor at the University of Florida.

Seminars will be held at Headquarters Library, Meeting Room B. Attendance is limited to 30 people on each.

The Adult Literacy Program at the Alachua County Library District is seeking volunteers to work with such adults. NOW! Foundations Tutor Trainings are scheduled for March 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, all in Storywoods except March 10, is in Meeting Room B.
