Please join us for a Live Virtual Law in the Library discussion on Wednesday, April 7 at 12:30 p.m. as we address pertinent Estate Planning issues and then take your questions live. You can join us on Zoom or on our Facebook page.
Estate Planning is the process of anticipating and arranging, during your life, the management and disposal of your estate in the event that you become incapacitated or die. It involves the process of designating who will receive assets and handle your responsibilities after your death or incapacitation. During this past year of the pandemic, Estate Planning has been of particular importance. Among the discussion topics we hope to cover will be wills, advance directives, trusts, special needs trusts, gifts, probate, litigation, and estate taxes, including how to ensure beneficiaries receive assets in a way that minimizes estate tax, gift tax, income tax, and other taxes. You can find legal forms for Estate Planning on our eSource Gale Legal Forms.
Law in the Library is a series of discussions on relevant legal topics lead by local attorneys who share their expertise with us. Alachua County Library District is pleased to partner with the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court for this important series.
