[Who is Laverne Cox?]
Laverne Cox has acheived a lot in her life! Though she is an accomplished actress with multiple awards to her name (and the first transgender person to have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds), she is also a devoted activist for the LGBTQ community. She has worked alongside a number of organizations, such as the Human Rights Campaign and the ACLU, fighting for equality and specifically for transgender rights.
