Have you ever wanted to battle an ice troll? What about sneak into a dank dungeon to plunder treasure. Ever thought about gathering your closest friends and teaming up to take down a red dragon? Well now you can. The Library District has several tabletop gaming programs where patrons can learn about, and play multiple tabletop role playing games. There are program for players of Dungeons & Dragons as well as Pathfinder. Join us on an adventure filled with immersive storytelling in a collaborative environment.  

The Library District also has many great materials to help you become a better player, or learn how to start your own game. We have continued to expand our collection of tabletop roll playing guides and skill manuals for Pathfinder as well as Dungeons & Dragons. We have recently added guides for Call of Cthulhu as well as The One Ring and Blades in the Dark. Check out below for a list of some Library District materials available for checkout.

 

Tabletop Gaming Programs at the Library
  • Dungeons & Dragons: Roll With It
    Friday April 25 and May 13 and May 27, 3:30 p.m. (Teens)
    Newberry Branch
    Tweens and teens can play through a Dungeons & Dragons campaign with guidance from an experienced Dungeon Master. Registration is required. If registration is full, feel free to join the waitlist or register for a later session.
  • Pathfinders Society for Teens: Tabletop RPG
    Sunday May 18, 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. (Teens)

    Come participate in a fantasy world where you take control of your actions in a story! You can play as a character that you created or as one provided at the game.
  • Dungeons & Dragons for Teens: Blue Campaign
    Tuesday May 6 and May 20, 3 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (Teens)

    Join us in our bi-monthly, fun-filled sessions as we play a short campaign in the world of D&D! Teenaged players, of all experience levels, are welcome to join the fun.
