Let your creativity run free, by taking on the art of soap making. In this blog, you will learn how to make your own homemade soap that’s loaded with natural and aromatic ingredients, including the scent of lavender.
Materials Needed
1 lb Melt & Pour Base (There’s a variety you can choose from including Goat’s Milk and Shea Butter).
1-2 TBSP of Dried Lavender
Lavender Oil
Silicone Soap Molds
Instructions
Cut the melt & pour soap mix into squares and place in a microwave safe container.
Melt in microwave for 30 seconds. Remove & stir and keep microwaving for 10 second intervals until full melted.
You may also fill a saucepan half way with water along with the base and bring to a boil slowly over medium heat. If you want to add color to your soap, now is the time to do so.
Add 15 drops of lavender oil and a tablespoon of dried lavender. You may add a second tablespoon of dried lavender, if desired. Ladle mixture into silicone soap mold. Let it set overnight. Then remove from mold and enjoy!
