Quilting was such an important activity last year for many people. Quilting is a creative outlet that also helps relieve stress, which is especially important during these trying times. Quilting and other creative outlets can help those who suffer from anxiety, depression, or chronic pain. Not only does it help ease stress, but it can increase happiness through the release of dopamine and serotonin which are natural feel-good hormones. Because it involves memory, attention span, visuospatial processing, creativity, and problem-solving, quilting is also good for the brain.
