Author Tim Dorsey is bringing his Florida crime caper series to libraries in High Springs on June 23 and in Gainesville on July 5.

The Alachua County Library Districts invites everyone to come meet noted Florida author Tim Dorsey. He will be signing his books at the High Springs Branch on Saturday, June 23, at 12:30 p.m. and at Headquarters on July 5, at 7:30 p.m. Dorsey is the author of 15 novels including Florida Roadkill, Hammerhead Ranch Motel, Orange Crush, Triggerfish Twist, The Stingray Shuffle, Cadillac Beach, Torpedo Juice, The Big Bamboo, Hurricane Punch, Atomic Lobster, Nuclear Jellyfish, Gator A-Go-Go, Electric Barracuda, When Elves Attack and Pineapple Grenade.

The Library Partnership Neighborhood Resource Center invites the community to celebrate history and enjoy fellowship with neighbors at the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1130 N.E. 16 Avenue, Gainesville. The Juneteenth Celebration at the Library Partnership brings the community together with dance and music by local artists, The Library Idol competition, and motivational speakers from our community.
